Johana Bernárdez
B.Sc., M.Sc. Senior Psychologist
Johana Bernárdez is a psychologist with over fifteen years of experience helping people find emotional balance and well-being. She trained as a Clinical and Community Psychologist at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela and later completed a Master’s degree in Family and Couple Therapy at Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Spain. As a systemic therapist, Johana firmly believes that no one faces their challenges in isolation. She recognises that individuals exist within a network of interconnected systems, from family and social relationships to the broader cultural context, and that these dynamic interactions significantly influence a person’s emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. Her work focuses on helping patients explore how these dynamics influence their lives, so they can discover new ways to face challenges, improve relationships, and grow personally.
She integrates various therapeutic approaches and techniques in her practice, tailoring each session to the patient’s unique needs. She enjoys working from an integrative perspective, connecting mind, body, and emotions, and often incorporates body-focused practices to promote holistic mental health.
Johana offers online therapy sessions for adults in Spanish and English, ensuring that clients can feel comfortable and supported in their preferred language.
